The Great American Clean up 2007 April 28th Community comes together for the

Great American Clean-up!

OAKLEY GREAT AMERICAN CLEAN-UP

It's just about time for a little spring cleaning,
both inside and outside.  Come be a part of this
year's Great American Clean-up as we do some spring
cleaning around Oakley.  The Cincinnati Recreation
Commission, Oakley Community Council and Keep
Cincinnati Beautiful invite residents, businesses and
community leaders to participate in beautifying our
community.

WHEN:  Saturday April 28, 2007

TIME:  9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

WHERE:  Volunteers will meet between 8:30 and 9:00 AM
at the Oakley Community Center (next to the Hyde Park
Bigg's).  Coffee and doughnuts will be provided.

WHAT TO EXPECT:  Volunteers will be grouped and
assigned to specific locations around Oakley where
they will clean up litter and debris.  You'll want to
bring golves and wear grubby clothes and shoes since
trash pick-up is involved.  Extra trash bags would be
appreciated!

Last years Great American Clean-up!

This Spring the Oakley Community Council took part in the Great American Clean-up.  Our crew cleaned up trash and debris throughout Oakley.  After the Clean up, Local Business RP McMurphy's hosted an after party!  We not only had a great time, but really made a difference in the community as well.
